He called himself Anything, the stranger dressed all in brown, when he strolled into Carlsburg. The farming community had never seen anything like him before. He would do anything-any job, no matter how simple or complex-for a meal and a place to stay. And there seemed to be nothing he couldn't do better, faster, and cheaper than any man in town.
